Eligibility Criteria for Admission in KIMS, Bangalore
MBBS
- The candidate must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
- The candidate must have scored at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together.
- The candidate must be at least 17 years old on 31 December of the year of admission.
- The candidate must have qualified NEET-UG.
MD/MS
- The candidate must have qualified NEET-PG.
- The candidate must hold an MBBS degree from a college recognised by the National Medical Commission.
- The candidate must have completed the compulsory rotating internship by the cutoff date notified for that year.
Counselling Process
- Register with KEA. Register for counselling with the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) and upload the required documents.
- Fill in options. During option entry, choose Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences under the private (management) or NRI seats, as per your eligibility.
- Seat allotment. Check the allotment result after each counselling round.
- Pay the fee. Pay the fee for your allotted quota and download the allotment letter.
